Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and… El Salvador.

Flag_of_El_Salvador.svgAs many of you know, I will be leaving this Saturday to teach a seminary class in San Salvador, El Salvador. I am so excited for this opportunity. Over seven days I will be teaching New Testament Survey to 60 Salvadoran pastors, preaching in four churches, teaching a marriage seminar, and speaking to the National Police of El Salvador. It will be a busy week to say the least.

First, let me say that I greatly appreciate your prayers. I ask that you pray for safety but even more so that God would speak greatly into the lives of these pastors and leaders and that they would be further equipped to fulfill the Great Commission in El Salvador.

I believe wholeheartedly in the work that is being done in El Salvador. Our Etowah Baptist Association has developed a brilliant strategy for equipping Salvadoran pastors and leaders through the seminary we have established there. These pastors are learning and growing and then going out week after week to preach the Word in cities and towns throughout El Salvador.

Please be in prayer for the continuing work of this ministry.

Below is a bit more about the trip and the awesome opportunities that I will be given while in El Salvador. I hope that you will pray specifically for these churches, groups, and people.

Thank you all so much for your prayers!
